Lovely vintage bike frame and chrome forks by Giacomelli , a small but well respected Belgian Frame Builders. Estimate mid 80s from the styling . Columbus steel tubing, possibly Sl or Aelle Lots of great features : cut out lugs, Gipiemme forged dropouts, Cinelli style sloping fork crown. Tight racing geometry this would have once been a proper racing machine and will build into a fast ,responsive and comfortable ride. Ideal for a winter trainer or commuter , horizontal dropouts also make it ideal for a fixed or single speed conversion. Will take 130mm rear wheel . Awesome retro paint, but due to age paint has usual patina but no dents or cracks. It does have quite a lot of chips which have been coated in clear nail varnish to prevent rust. Lots of character as is or could be resprayed easily. Inside of frame has also been coated with rust protector . Size- 55.5cm top tube centre to centre. 56cm seat tube centre to centre .
