I bought this when I started uni (I'm half way through my second year so not long) to run all the multimedia software I would be using (it also outputs to a 4k screen) and it runs like a dream! The only reason I'm selling is I bought the Surface Pro 3 to be able to draw on the screen and it was easier carrying one machine around rather than 2. So this has stayed at home mostly but is FANTASTIC compared to the Surface for rendering because of the graphics card. It has a BRAND NEW SSD in, I have a 500 GB Toshiba Hybrid drive and 1TB Toshiba HDD that I can swap if you want a slower machine with more space - but an external drive saves weight and means your files are safe if your laptop is stolen. I use Cloud services to back my files up also. It's also got an Aluminium frame so it looks great, really professional, plastic laptops tend to look tacky and break a lot sooner.
